NC Lawyers Weekly: The Odom Firm obtained 6th largest verdict/settlement in NC in 2020.

Each year, North Carolina Lawyers Weekly publishes an annual review of the top verdicts and settlements obtained in North Carolina. The Odom Firm's $8,300,000 settlement with the City of Charlotte for the acquisition of land near the airport ranked as the 6th highest result in 2020. Further, the settlement ranked as the highest direct land condemnation matter on the list.

Previously, the top verdicts and settlements list included the Firm's settlement of five related cases for the construction of I-485. That $10,500,000 total settlement ranked 2nd highest in 2013.

The Odom Firm Attorneys represented the landowners.
